This was one of the paintings I did at Joans earlier in the year when I visited her to jumpstart my creativity again. Using one of her gorgeous floral arrangements, I worked quickly in pen to create an outline before adding juicy acrylic inks to colour.

OH how I love the blend of colours...especially of the surface the vase is sitting on.
How I remember this day together, in my little cosy warm study, trying to create the floral arrangement. I looked at mine only the other day when sorting (as usual) and decided it needed to go in the bin!!! Yours is beautifully fresh.
