I like to challenge myself with a time to see how much I can do in that said time slot.

It's a great way of looking back and evaluating  how quickly I found my lines and how accurate they were...sketching in ink means all mistakes are visible, a great tool for seeing errors when evaluating and working to correct misplacements in the future.

I used to use a prepped base a lot and realised I hadn't for a while. It gives a little more pop to an ink sketch and somehow enhances or injects emotion into the subject in my opinion.
