Roma-Day1-Stansted Airport
A little sketch with our latte and panettone slice....getting in the zone for our destination. Exciting and such a long time coming!

The Flight
The easiest airport to fly from for us is Stansted and the flights are Ryanair so there isn't much room on the plane for a Folio Moleskine, I managed one quick sketch!
The sun was shining on arrival! The driver had to take a different route to our hotel due to a protest but, other than adding a few minutes to our journey, it did not effect us in any way.
Threw our bags into our very nice hotel room, quick freshen up and change and headed straight out onto the streets of Rome (Oooooh) Sugo supplied some much needed food and drink after a very long day and we found the Spanish Steps to sit upon and people watch for a while before heading back to get some sleep ready for a fresh start in the morning.
Buzzing...far too much to sleep and woke every hour!
