Home Straight
' Home Straight' - Acrylic interactives on canvas
This is the painting I created from the sketches in the previous post, relying on memory for the colours and atmosphere.
This is the drove I live in; a mile long, dead end with just seven homes in total and clear views across the Fen in every direction make it a wonderful place to call home.

Beautiful painting of such a lovely place to live!!
Wonderful!!! I love the colors of this that make it feel like it is just before the sun starts to set..and the feeling of anticipation that you are almost "home."
Such a quick result from your tonal sketches. Adore the colours and atmosphere they create. Well done pal. You did not mention the little river at the end of the drove and the broken down old boat!!! plus the swans, plants, your Christmas tree plantation 0h! so much to make us all envious of where you call home. Can't wait to come again.
Gorgeous scene....I love that sky!
Love the deep rich soil in the fields...I miss that here in Arizona...:)
