My Little Green Chair

I've no idea why it reminds me of Van Gogh but it does, perhaps it's more to do with the raw emotions it seems to hold between the numerous layers of paint and the countless houses it's belonged to over time more than it's shape?

Love the sketch! Your puddling of colour is old and worn and the untouched bits of paper...brilliant!

It would fit very well in a provençal home. Provence + color + light = Van Gogh ? I like the sketch, too.

chairs always remind me of van gogh! It certainly doesn't have anything to do with your sense of perspective.
The blue works really well.

Thanks Mark, Karen, Sue, Anetka, Delph and Vicki!

So pleased I'm not the only one who thinks it's a little Van Gogh!

I'm quite pleased with the paint application too, although not much thinking went into it as I painted it as a last minute 'NEED' before heading for bed, very tired. Perhaps I should paint when tired more often, it certainly seems to loosen me up and loose the control freak? LOL!
