Nibbles and Notes - Day 3

I had homemade lemon cake and latte for breakfast around 11am this morning, purchased while at the Rose Fair in Wisbech. I managed a couple of glasses of water mixed with a fruit cordial for taste but my coffee intake stuck.

Did you know that high caffeine levels can accelerate the loss of minerals from bone, increasing the risk of Osteoporosis?

After getting rained off at the Rose Fair, I returned home to tackle the last of my Ikea furniture...This time with power tools!

I took photos for you as promised...

My 7ft desk has drawers and static legs, my smaller desk was purchased with adjustable legs so I could lower it, this way it doesn't spoil the view through the window from the dinning room.

It's light enough to pull out during the day so I can work with that fantastic view infront of me, I can push it back in like this to allow me a handy return on the larger desk and maximise space.

I LOVE my chair!!!

I added a few bits to my shelf...

The boxes under the table are full of my oil painting materials...I am currently searching out some nice fancy tins for them. I have one. I'm feel safer keeping them in tins because of their flammable properties...

...and this is the sunset responsible for all the dramatic lighting in these photos this evening...

All that's left to do now is to hang a few of those paintings on the wall above the large desk and then pinch myself! LOL!

Great indoor shots - the computer area looks great especially knowing how you managed for so long 'in the cupboard'!!! Looks everything you could have dreamed of - smart, feeling of interior designed, roomy, beautiful light and views and that comfy chair... and bags of storage places. Poor old Rose Fair - it always seems to rain. Did you sketch or just wonder round?? Any FENVAC members about??

great studio- lots of storage lots of work space-- and a GREAT view - Love IKEA stuff -

Your food blogs amaze me- they are so lovely - I am totally unable to sketch food - I have to eat it- how long do you spend sketching it before you eat?

Oh the view and the light........... and the chair! Perfect - when do you have an open day? (it takes a bit of planning coming up from Guernsey)

Ikea fan myself - and spend yesterday there, I also looked at those little white drawers units - very useful!
