New Journal For The School Break

River Nene - March - 21.7.08

I have started a new journal for the school holidays
Choosing which sketchbook to use for this most favourite part of my year (except Christmas) was a difficult decision but when given choices most decisions are pretty much a nightmare for me.
I started in a small watercolour moleskine and just one day later changed my mind to a large watercolour moleskine, so I cut out my first sketch and stuck in into my new choice.
Although the smaller one is more portable and easier to hold on location, the large moleskine has the advantage of space where I can record thoughts through text and this was more important to me as I hope to hand these to my youngest Harry when he is older...A record of his summers.

He'll appreciate it but his kids are going to love it!

Your art/journaling seems to fit well in the larger wc moleskine. Enjoying my daily visit very much.

What a treasure you are creating, not just for Harry, but for Harry's children.. and their children. Does Harry show any interest in drawing himself?

THANK YOU ALL!

Carol, the large moleskine is perfect for journalling IMO but I sure wish it was easier to scan, I have to scan it in halves because the full spread is too large for my A4 scanner :(
