I sketched it using my netbook while lying on the sofa and when the screen went blank I stopped and got my watercolours out and worked it until my screen went blank again. I'm not sure how long you get before the screen blanks, I'll have to time it, but I'm sure it's not much more than 10 mins

Love the sketch of Salute - it's an awesome part of the skyline and probably the most famous view of Venice after San Marco.
Take a look at Liz Steel and Borromini Bear's Blog - they're in Venice at the moment.
Came home early from Lauras so have filled my morning checking out Travelsphere Classic Cities tour and distances between cities to get idea of how long we are in coaches (ugh). Also checked out Montecatini Terme up in the hills - it has 200 hotels for tourists - and Fuiggi !!!!
IF YOU CAN DO SKETCHES LIKE THIS FROM THE TV SCREEN IN YOUR LOUNGE - YOUR WORK WHEN WE ARE THERE WILL BE AWESOME!!
Thanks Michael...I am watching Liz on her adventure...Was sposed to meet up with her but we couldn't make it work sadly.
Ooooh great Joannie! I am so excited, can't wait to get together and chat, chat, chat!
Magnificent!
Thanks Vicky
