A Quick Cuppa At The Library

Red/Blk Noodlers ink on prepared sketchbook page (gouache & watercolour)

Another quick session at the library accompanied by a hot black coffee. It's such a great place to people sketch.

Your work is so spontaneous and fresh! Would LOVE to share a cup of coffee and watch you draw! Always enjoy seeing what's next here.

These are great. In the first one, did you add more watercolors after you are done with the pen and ink drawing?

I like the use of toned paper and gouache. Gives a good solid feel to the work, Anita.

Anita--

Really like this art. So you drink your coffee black, hey? I love to drink coffee with everything in it, wine, beer or gin and tonics when I paint. Only bad thing, is when I forget my drink is NOT what I should dip my brush into. Keep posting!!!

I love your sketches and artwork posted here. It looks like you sometimes do quick sketches with ink and/or watercolor in your car or at the library. How do you manage that?

Nice sketches and line quality. Amazing how much "attitude" one can convey with a few lines.

Do you ever feel the need to give a model release to strangers you are drawing?
