Coltishall Trip -Part 3

On Sunday Joan and I watched a Ray Balkwill DVD which inspired us into long conversation up to lunchtime.
My only sketch was created early in the morning with my first cuppa of the day, catching Clive quickly while he indulged in a cigarette by the conservatory doors.
Around 6pm I said my goodbyes and hit the road towards home, totally relaxed and re-charged!

I really like the way you've left both drawing and painting sections in your work. I think that sometimes this gives more emphasis than having all drawing...or all painting. I always look forward to seeing you post your new work.

I'll try again to post a comment---the first one would not go through. I love the interplay here and the watcher guy is something I am exploring now, so this wonderful sketch delighted me as always.

A delightful drawing. I especially like the limited touches of colour. I want to see what he was seeing. Watching the watcher - fun.

This is great, I love the way you have colour in the background but the actual person in the centre is colourless. I wish i was there it looks cosy.
