Thing-A-Day - Day Five

Todays 'feature' was very much SNOW here in the Fens today. I woke to approx 5-6 inches of it.
These are Harry's boots. He wore them most of the day and had the time of his life building snowmen and lobbing snowballs at his big Brother Jake. So much energy and never a complaint of being cold!

*A great tip for keeping kids hands warm and dry through situations such as these are those surgical plastic gloves. They really protect those little pinkies and prevent all that chapping. Harry's hands were warm as toast when he finally came in to take a bath!

I have to admit I would never have thought of the surgical gloves :)
Please send snow our way, it's been 8 years since we had a deep snow like that and 4 years since we had more than a dusting!
Love your icy blues...

Oh, I wish I had known about surgical gloves when my Alexander was little. He won't be out long enough now to warrant them.

I like your drawing.

My feet are so cold. It is so cold here in London, ON. I am shivering and wishing I had nice warm boots.

Very nicely done! And I like the icy blue background. We just blitzed with more snow yesterday and I need a new pair of boots myself.

I would like to wake up to snow just once.

I like your "Thing a Day" project.

Very fashionable boots.

Nice painting, cool blue, I like this a lot. Sometimes I miss the snow - but then I remember how cold it was in Canada when I used to live there 10 years ago, and all the layers of clothing we had to put on and take-off .. I think I'll stick to the sunshine :-)

Wow, thats great, the only snow boots I've got are some wellies - which are not warm, they actually make feet colder. I would love some snow boots
