Self Portrait

Spent 20 minutes in the mirror with some gouache and a very serious expression!

Harry has got the sketch bug bad and I now know how he feels when I follow him around with my sketchbook. He sketched me again the other day, this time while I was at my pc.
You can see his sketch here on his blog

Wow, you did that in 20 mins? I love how you've got the light on your hair.

We always look serious in self portraits though, don't we? I don't think I could hold any other expression for long enough, especially while concentrating.

We both seem to be in the pink lately! The eyes are brilliant - I know them so well - so full of feeling... but I do feel the face is a little too full but then I suspect its the angle you leaned forward to the mirror. 20 mins ?? dont believe it pal. Your a speedy genius.

Nicely done! But 20 minutes? That's amazing!

You do look more serious than normal in this one...maybe it was from getting it done so quickly!

Anita, you do such great work. This is wonderful. I love the restaurant sketches, too.

Beautiful! My guess is that is not your usual expression!
