Friendly Lunch

Back at the Griffin Hotel again last week, this time for an overdue lunch date with a very good friend. Lots of talking and laughter but I still managed to slip in a quick sketch.

I like the mix of colour and monochrome. I am really studying how you do your pages in the hope some will rub off on me!
Is your sketchbook square? I want one! I have a square fetish.

Your friends don't mind you sketching durning lunch? Maybe I'm too shy, I certainly don't have your talent... I have a hard enough time drawing in public, but doing so with a friend at the table... well... I just don't think I could do it. I love your sketch and so admire your artist's eye that is evident in all your work.

I am really enjoying your art journal pages, and love your sketches and paintings - I have followed your blog for quite some time.
I wonder if you could tell me, when you say 'a quick sketch' how long this actually would be? I think this sketch would have taken me about 30 minutes, so do you get quicker if you are sketching several times a day?
