Inks and a Bin Liner

Played around with ink and a plastic bag.

I started with the splashes of acrylic ink first thing in the morning.
A couple of hours later I sketched the figure with my Lamy Safari fountain pen filled with red-black Noodler's ink. Then I used a water brush to blend some of my loose hatching for tone.
Later that night I poured neat ink into a puddle on the page and covered it with a crushed plastic bin liner before closing the book, weighting it down and heading off to bed.
This is what I woke to in the morning when I peeled off the bag.
Fun!

Neat, Anita. Interesting procedure. May have to try that one day myself.

Thanks for charing the procedure. Sounds like fun: Let the art material make art while you were sleeping. Thanks for your comment Flickr.

Hi pal - just got up at 11 am but was reading papers and mags in bed with cups of tea for company after late night at Lisa/Owen's party. Way back when I was in Dorset I used to use rolled up clingfilm to help create texture in my waves in my many seascapes. Agreed - it is fun and you never know what the results will be.

Liked the SHOE COLUMN very much. So glad you told the world about your shoe fetish!!!! Have you ever posted anything on your fashion project?? They seem to go hand in hand - or is it feet in feet!!! |Not long now before I see you all HURRAH.
