Church Farm

As you can clearly see on my journal page, we visited Church Farm some time ago back in May, I had put it on the reserve list for my column and not used it, came across it again today while browsing my image files and thought I'd share it here.
It was a short visit, after waiting some time for our lunch on arrival, we only managed a short walk around the pig breeds before the rain set in.
Not our most memorable day out but the delay with our food did mean I had time to sketch both my latte and the old building in the field next door to the cafe.
Thank heavens for sketchbooks!

Lovely sketch of building--just the right atmosphere, and just enough detail in the trees...

I love your buildings always ... and this one is no exception. The trees are so ice and watery and the building colors so warm. I always want to go inside .... you make them look so welcoming.

Anita, I love your style...I love both the light drawing of the latte and the more traditional painting of the building. Both styles are great!

Enjoyed catching up on your latest posts - was at the hospital yesterday for tests and dentist this morning - what a week!!! Loved your church building colours - strong yet subtle - so clever.
