Very beautiful layout. The pear is beautifully done. I love monochromatic work.
Oh, this is beautiful in its simplicity. The double-spread format works really well here, giving the drawing plenty of space.
Cannot wait for the opportunity to show one another our May journals "in real"! However lovely they look on a blog, they're always so much more impressive in person.
What a beautiful quote to represent - the simplicity of the pear is awesome. Where you finding all these quotes?? I read this one the other day on someones blog - 'As we change, our voice changes. We leave behind the known and tested to moved into uncharted territory. All artists wrestle with this one '... Ian Roberts
i really like your work. I have been admiring it for awhile now. I can't believe that you put something out there every day. I just started sketching again myself and i will be happy if I get one a week up. This day's work is excellent, I really like the subtleness of the monochrome.
Thanks,
Robin

Elegantly simple and rich in both word and art. :)
You got a great thing going Anita. Looking forward seeing your wonderful Every Day in May posts as I travel through Central America.
Elegant! I'm impressed by the work it takes to get the "voice" the image and the art. Anita, thy name is AMBITIOUS!
