"Without delay I began work. Without hesitation and all of a fever"
Paul Gauguin
This is how the double spread layout looks in my Khadi sketchbook.
This is the self-portrait by Gauguin I loosely based my self portrait on, using elements such as the strong outline of features and the floral background for inspiration.

Ooh, I like it! Simple but inspired.
Can definitely recognise Anita in that face, although it is more severe than the you I've seen. :)
Will all the "voices" be those of artists? Or will you interpret the theme differently with each drawing? I'll stay tuned to find out ...
I forgot to ask how well the ink and gouache went down on the khadi paper?
Excellent, Anita! I was very curious as to how you would approach your "Voices" theme. Now it seems so logical!
Oh that's CLEVER! I like your interpretation!
BRILLIANT. As ALWAYS.
Great idea - great execution. Look forward to seeing who the next artist's voice will be.... and the next and the next.........Wow! 30 to go. wonder if you will tackle such artists as abtract Kandinsky - modernist O'Keefe, how about Hodgkin, the great draughsman Durer and as for Francis Bacon - oh it can go on and on. Good luck!!
