Zingy Gouache

Journal-20 mins

The smell of these delicious beauties drove me half crazy all the way home from a Wisbech supermarket on Monday, it was all I could do not to pull over and rip one open!

Zingy colours, and nice contrast in the rough texture of the fruit and the smoothness of the bowl.

Your use of gouache was very well done in this bowl of fruit. Never heard of them. But they look like what we call tangerines.

Thank you Dave!I'm pleased the texture came across well.

Donn, thank you! Yes, tangerines, satsumas, clementines...They all look the same to me and I'm never sue which I've purchased! LOL!

Anita, I love how you put so much life into your work. The colors are bright and there's a certain sense of playfulness in it all.
