My dear friend Joannie arrived on Thursday to stay for a few days.
We've spent our time, as art friends do, sketching, painting and talking ...and talking ...and talking!
Last night we managed a painting session in the studio, where we used sketches from previous life studies to produce fun works in acrylic on canvas. After squeezing white acrylic ink onto the bottom of mine, for an effect I was after, I found myself with nothing to do while it dried, so I grabbed my sketchbook and made a quick study of Joannie, still busy working on hers.
