Quick Detour

On Monday I went into March Town to do my banking. I usually drive into Town straight after taking Harry into school, arriving around 9.25, but the bank doesn't open until 10. Once upon a time I found this frustrating but my sketchbooks changed all that!
I took a walk down Acre Road and visited the local library, purchased myself a latte from their wonderful machine and sat myself down infront of the huge glass front of the building facing the rear of the Acre Pub where I set about creating this quick sketch.

Thank goodness for those moments waiting for Harry! We are treated with these great drawings! What kind of pen is this?

Hi! Love your skeches. This one is grand. You are cultivating my memory. I have two sons. 3.5 years apart. Oh! The time in the car. Yes, please tell us the pen and ink you used and moleskin size. Wonderful!

Thank you Joan & quilt knit.

I used a sepia DR Pilot Drawing Pen in my 21x15cm Canson HP watercolour Sketchbook.
I purchased my pens from www.cultpens.com and my sketchbook from www.greatart.co.uk.

Hope that helps!

Anita, I can just picture you with the latte in your hand, the moleskin in your lap, and the pen in hand. Lovely use of your time!!
