Inktense Hands

Working from life, using myself as a subject, I took a few moments to concentrate on my hands. I chose to use pigment liner to draw them first and went straight in with inktense pencils on the second, sketching a foreshortened angle to stretch my skills.

I am classing this sketch as part of my 2008 people project as I believe that zooming in and isolating body parts will be of benefit also.

Very nicely drawn and excellent pigment choices!

Beautiful! And I´m impressed you managed to get those subtle skin tones with Inktense, I always seem to use them too heavily...

Great hands, Anita! I started working on hands just before Christmas, but haven't been able to keep it up through the holidays. Thanks for the inspiration to get back to work.
