Manea Royal British Legion Club
I attended Yoga class this morning and arrived early...again!
I seem to do that a lot since keeping a journal, grabbing chances between appointments to lurk suspiciously in my truck with a pen and sketchbook in my hands.
After Yoga I decided to turn left instead of right for a change and headed towards Chatteris. Once reaching Chatteris I couldn't get Bluebell Cafe out of my mind, they cook THE best full English breakfast of any cafe I have visited...and I've visited quite a few. After being told all morning, in yoga class, to 'listen to my body' I decided I had no alternative but to indulge.
I'm sure my teacher will be very proud of me.

Anita, I like your sketches. They are really nice. Good to see places around the world.
I have yet to try any sketch in public, but we're usually too busy shopping. We only get to town once a week....too far to drive as we live in the country.
What does a full English breakfast consist of?
I can't believe you can eat a WHOLE English breakfast!!! *L* deni.....;)
Thank you Donn.
I'm in the country too but the nearest village is just 3 miles away. I know how daunting sketching in public can be for the first time, I felt the same, but once I started I couln't seem to stop. It presents such challenges and lots of free models!
I have lots more location sketches in my 2007 Location Sketchbook which is linked on the RHS if you're interested.
Ooooh, now then Jeanne....Mine consisted of:
2 rashers of bacon, 2 eggs, sausage, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, bread and butter...Yum!
:)
With ease Deni...With ease! LOL!
Hi Anita,
Aren't you good doing that lovely drawing and then yoga. You definately deserved a treat after that!
...you did absolutely right, Anita! And the visible results of your coffee shop visit are really good, too!
My thoughts exactly Jess! LOL!
Thanx Claudia!
Wow - sounds like such a great morning - and the weather was sunny ?(judging from the light in these sketches)
Wonderful drawings that are loaded with atmosphere. You must live i a wonderful place.
And I'm sure you worked off every bite of that breakfast in yoga class.
Love the soft blues and yellows....lovely sketches, Anita! It sounds like you had a nice time. I assume this is done in all yoga classes but my favourite part used to be the relaxing meditation at the end.
