MindBlowing

Another from my imagination...
This one flew out of me from somewhere but there isn't a single item in this room that is familiar to me. Sketched in around 10 minutes, my hand seemed to know where it was heading on the paper, as if sketching my own lounge, so sure of every item...Crazy huh?
I love the fact that we never quite understand the entire workings of the mind and the fact that we can still surprise ourselves after living with ourselves all our lives!

I think it's just something we all have, just like the way characters come to authors fully formed. I remember reading that JKR said that about Harry Potter.

We who write, draw and otherwise create, on varying levels , are so fortunate to be able to see our imaginations "come to life".

There is something about this that reminds me of the old Dutch masters - maybe it's the composition or maybe the way you've handled the light. Perhaps you were Dutch in another life...

I think it's wonderful that you can draw from your imagination so freely....great job, Anita! Do these images come to you when you sit down with sketchbook in hand or do you see an image in your mind first and then race for the sketchbook to record it before you lose the details?

Thanx Serena.
I sit down with my sketchbook and then just let the pen go where my hand takes it, no thought or planning go into these little imagination doodles, I'm often surprised by the results myself!

It sounds Anita likes its the same phenomena as 'automatic writing' that many spiritualist mediums find themselves able to do when linked into their higher self.... and you certainly are aware enough of the energies around you. But on the other hand, dont give all the credit to an outside influence. . I am sure it all comes from the 'real' you deep inside.

To be able to sketch from your imagination so clearly is a huge creative trait. I love your drawings.
