Mind Trip - Duke Street

Imaginary street scene 'Duke Street' - Pigment liner and watercolour wash

I have no idea where the name 'Duke Street' came from or the high rise buildings that form it. Why the sun sits behind the shop casting giant shadows across the road or which way the little guy intends to travel once he's crossed the road, perhaps there's a bench next to the planted area, just outside of the picture, where a friend waits...moving up and down the bench to capture some of the sunshine before it slips behind yet another chimney?

This is really awesome! Very rarely can I draw anything like that from my imagination. As for the name, the town where I lived before I moved to NC had a Duke Street. MAybe it's somewhere where youn travelled in your dreams? Either way, it's a wonderful drawing.
