I had a very productive day today and among other things I managed to knock another three challenges off the EDM challenge list while at the same time completing two of the items on this weeks Wet Canvas scavenger hunt.
Challenge 27 was to sketch a book and sketchbook was on the scavenger hunt list, so I chose my W&N journal and my small Venezia sketchbooks for this sketch because of their attractive covers:
Challenge 54 was to sketch something you love. I love music and have recently purchased a small, portable sound system for the studio. Radio was also on the scavenger hunt list this week, so I managed to complete both tasks in this one sketch:
Finally, challenge 55 was to sketch a doorknob. I chose one of the handles on my studio sideboard for this sketch:
All of the sketches are in my A6 W&N 'Little book of challenges' and are created using pigment liner and watercolour.

As always, your artwork is interesting and beautiful, and you're having too much fun with the EDM challenges.
Funny Jenny stole my opening...was going to say as usual...but you do nice work...alot of detail...i hate doing details myself but appreciate it in others work
Wow, you've had a productive time getting three challenges done. I love journals and sketchbooks so they are my favorite. Great work.
You were on good form yesterday. I like the sketchbooks best, too.
Anita, your work is always so lovely! Your sketchbooks would be a sheer delight to browse through.
LOL...Thankyou Jenny. I am have to say, I am really enjoying myself.
Thankyou Margaret. Funny, I don't approach a subject with the intention of catching every detail, I guess it's just my nature...I have always noticed all those little things in life from a child.
Lovely!
I'd love to know more about the scavenger hunt - it might be a good way to get me out of the flat! Do you have a website address for it?
Thankyou Deborah. I love sketchbooks too and was rather pleased with this little sketch so I've made it this month's desktop background on my pc!
Thanx Dave! Yes, aswell as these I did another imaginary street scene and a pen study of a lily...On a roll! ;)
Thankyou so much Serena!
Thankyou Natalie!

Have fun!!!
I haven't had time to read my mail lately, so I put all the EDM stuff into a folder until I can read it at my leisure. Do you know that you are the most productive artist in this group? I need to take advantage of the spaces of minutes and do what you do. I have so many pictures I want to do, but feel like I have to block out the time to do them. I'll never get anything done if I don't start using my time more efficiently. These are really beautiful.
The drawing of the sketchbooks is fabulous. You have a wonderful way with details and textures. Thanks for posting the link to the Scavenger Hunt. It sounds like fun!
I love that sketchbook drawing, I have both of those too. Well done, and aren't they nice books?
Phthaloblu, most productive?...WOW!
I owe at least some of that to you and the other regulars who visit my blog each day, it's inspiring to me and keeps me chugging along!
Thankyou!
Thankyou Lynn...and you're welcome!
Thankyou Paulien. Yes, they are lovely books. I have a larger Venezia I use for my National Trust property and big house sketches and I adore it, although it's a little difficult to hold while stnding to sketch due to it's size. The paper is gorgeous though.
There isn't a W&N product I have tried that I haven't liked ...yet!
