Friends...Old and New!

I've been out sketching on location today and I haven't had time to create anything for this blog, so I have used a couple of sketches I created last year when I first started keeping a sketchbook.
~
Tomorrow I am off out on the 14th Worldwide sketchcrawl with my faithful friends....My boots!
I'm heading to Ely, home of Tindalls...An art shop! I purchase most of my art materials online so it's always such a treat to visit Tindalls and rummage through all the eye candy. I have packed my purse into my sketch bag, I have a feeling I may need it!
Fortunately, the weather report has picked up since I last posted here and it promises to be a DRY day tomorrow.
~
At the last worldwide sketchcrawl I met up with Emma-Jane for the first time and we have become friends. Yesterday I was visiting her blog and reading through her post entitled 'Lilies on Blue' thinking how lucky her friend is to be receiving such a pretty card. To my complete surprise, it arrived in the post this morning and almost reduced me to tears I was so pleased. Pleased to own such a beautiful piece of work and pleased to have met such a wonderful, thoughtful woman and be able to call her my friend.
THANKYOU EMMA-JANE...Such a wonderful surprise!

These are really great! I especially love the wallet. Not sure what it is, maybe the colors, but it really appeals to me. :)

Thankyou Serena. E-J's card was such a surprise!
The sketchcrawl went well, the rain stayed away but the wind was a little lively.
