EDM Challenges 7 and 87

On Friday I stopped in at 'The Old Bakery Cafe' in Chatteris with my youngest where we each ordered an egg and bacon sandwich. I had my 'little book of challenges' with me and decided to complete challenge no.87 - sketch your lunch.

Before leaving we purchased a small pot of homemade raspberry jam which I later sketched to complete challenge no.7 - sketch a jar from the kitchen.

Both purchases were absolutely delicious!

I haven't eaten meat for years, but an egg and bacon sandwich still stirs delicious memories :) Nice sketches, I love the jar of jam.

I'm a non-meat-eater myself so I'm with Robyn on those delicious memories of tasty bacon. Love the colours in the jar sketch. Very well done, Anita!

Back home and gone through all your challenges and other postings. My havent you been busy. The sandwich at Chatteris made me feel hungry - hope it was curling up because it was so full of filling and not because it was dried up??!!

Thanx Margaret. There are 3 reds and an orange in the jam jar, all of which come from my St. Peterburg pan set.

Oh Andrea me too, especially when they are in tiny little jars or tins!

I absolutely LOVE this sketch. Especially the limited use of color and detail, and the composition. Your line work is really nice also. Then of course there's the fact that you chose a great subject. Egg and bacon sandwich - Yum!
