Today was one of those days so jammed with things to do that I didn't know whether I was coming or going!
A trip to March Town with a list full of little 'bits & pieces' to remember took up my whole day...almost!
I did find time to lunch at Panini's Cafe and add two more sketches to my 'Little book of challenges'.
Challenge 86 was to sketch a traffic sign and, as I ordered my lunch from the table outside my favourite cafe, my eyes met with the sign across the road...It seemed to sum up my day perfectly!

My hot cheese panini arrived and I was reminded of challenge 84, to sketch bread. Speed was most definitely the essence here but, tummy rumbling, I managed a quick sketch before my cheese went cold. I had planned to sketch my latte too but the temptation was just too great for a caffeine addicted artist who badly needed her batteries recharging!

These are just great! I love the story that goes with it. Nice panini....looks tasty.
what a great job you are doing on all the challenges..I have been lagging...oh no!
Anita, you've done a great job indeed. My favorite is the second one, looks soooo tasty!!! Best wishes.
What wonderful drawings, I just love your style. That sign is just too cute!
Looks good enough to eat! I could just do with a latte now...I could do with the road sign today too; my daughter isn't well, so I'm having to frantically rearrange my day so I can work from home.
Thankyou Deborah, the panini was indeed tasty!
Thanx Marta. Everyone is entitled to lag sometimes!
Thankyou Martin!
Sorry to hear about your Daughter Dave, at least you have the advantage of being able to work from home to be with her.
The sign is on it's way to you! ;)
Great sketches Anita! That panini looks so seductive...I could only manage a very quick look at it...!!

I cannot believe that your lunch was a"quick sketch"! lol! It's done so very welll and doesn't look hurried at all. Wow, I admire your self-control because it looks yummy. Beautiful work!
Great sketch of your panini, Anita. The color is beautiful and I love the composition.
LOL...Thankyou Ronell!
Thankyou so much Phthaloblu. It was VERY difficult to resist and VERY tasty!
Thankyou juj!
How did you resits the panini long enough to draw it?? I like the arrangement on the page and colours are lovely
It wasn't easy to resist Sarah and I was outside in the breeze, so each passing moment was a risk of all that delicious cheese getting cold...Agony! LOL!
Thankyou for your kind comments.
It's obvious to me that you are becoming quite adept with your sketching, Anita, for you to be able to resist such delicious - looking food while you sketched it. If it had been mine, there would have been just an empty container and possibly a few crumbs to show for it in my sketchbook. LOL
LOL!...Thankyou Serena!
