EDM Challenge 65

Pigment liner

Today I spent a wonderful day in the company of my friend Joan at her home, The Cherry Trees, where we chatted and indulged in pecan Danish and a ham salad...Not a sketch in sight!

It was very relaxed as we sat in her beautiful garden making the most of the sunshine. So busy using our weekly dates as sketch days recently, it has been a while since we just relaxed and passed the day together.

A beautiful day!

This evening I decided to complete EDM challenge no. 65 in my 'little book of challenges'. I've always considered the nose to be the hardest facial feature, so welcomed the practice.

I like this study on different type of noses --- cute as a button nose, whiskered nose, elegant nose, etc. Excellent!

May you have more beautiful days like today :)

Sounds like a lovely day. Nice collection of noses. Funnily enough, I did a page of mouths yesterday--which I think are harder to draw than noses. I'll have to look to see if there has been a mouth challenge.

Thanx Dave!
Number 53 on the EDM challenge list is 'MOUTH'. ;)

Good noses! I particularly like the one with the moustache.

Thankyou Carole!
My favourite is the bottom left corner one!

Excellent noses! Especially the one on the bottom left. The 1/4 profile is SO hard to get right and you've managed it perfectly.

Anita, I'm really enjoying your EDM sketches and I like the thought of them all being in one book together. Imagine how much fun it will be to flip through that book when it is filled up.

Of course, had it been me, I would have never been able to resist eating that panini long enough to sketch it! :D

Thankyou juj!

LOL...Thankyou Stacy. I am pleased I kept my EDM challenges in separate books, the first is already starting to fill up and look interesting.
