Challenge no.30 was to sketch a chair. I decided to use something different on this sketch, a ballpoint pen. It was quite nice to work with but sadly didn't scan too well...My apologies.
The lettering is in pink ballpoint.

Challenge no.13 was to sketch a telephone. I chose my mobile because...it's mobile...and I could take it over to the comfort of my sofa while I sketched. It is such a pretty phone with a gold metallic front, a tan leather look backing and a colour coordinated tassel hanging from the side.
Very feminine!

I especially like the chair, though the girly phone is good too. It's amazing what some artists can achieve with ballpoint pen.

I love the sketch of the cell phone -very graphicy. It would make a great ad in a fashion mag.

Does EDM mail the challenge to you each week? I haven't even been able to get an updated list. I think the one I found is stopped at 106. I found a list on Karen's site once but can't find it now.

I think you did a great job with the ballpoint - I also like the way it has scanned.
Your phone is sooooo classy...I would agree with your "feminine", as well. I would be afraid of scratching it...It is so beautiful. The tassle adds such character.

It is gorgeous isn't it AND it came with a chinese silk purse/sleeve to protect it so it's perfectly safe in the demolition site that is my handbag!
