Spring Celebrations

Today's journal entry in my small moleskin sketchbook was dominated by my Son, Harry's, birthday celebrations... A wonderful, relaxed day spent with family.
While Harry counted out his purchases from our local toy store, I watched on...counting my blessings.
~
Another reason for celebration today is that here in the UK our clocks 'spring' forward an hour, which means lighter evenings, resulting in longer days and extra natural light ...Excellent news for artists all over the country!

Apart from the party and toys, this is a great way to mark Harry's birthday. Yes, I'm delighted to see daylight saving this morning as well.

I must admit I gain pleasure in knowing I will have marked events such as this Birthday in my sketchbooks to look back on when the finer details are a bit of a blur to me Robyn.
Not only do we get another whole hour but the morning is filled with sunshine here in the Fens today, so uplifting!

Glad you and Harry had such a good day. What a good idea for recording a memory of the day.

PS I couldn't live without coffee either. I make cappuccino for a weekend treat!

Thankyou Leslie, so pleased you are enjoying my ramblings!
Thankyou also for Harry's birthday wishes, I'm sure he'll be delighted to hear they came all the way from Alabama!

Thanx Dave!
Oooh, good to 'meet' another caffeine lover! I have a Tassimo machine, well 2 actually one in the house and one for the studio, they are amazing: cappuchino, latte, cafe crema, classic blend, hot chocolate.....all at the press of a button - HEAVEN!
