Soft Roses

Romance was the aim with this recent piece.

I wanted to create a soft painterly feel, with lost edges

that would form a softness to the eye.

The neutral palette would add to this uncomplicated

composition as would the space around the subjects,

allowing the viewer room to breath by creating distance.

The painting was created using burnt umber acrylic.
