I still find the TV, YouTube, DVD's invaluable resources of an evening when it's too dark to venture outside and I'm itching to sketch something....anything!
I can sit all comfy on my sofa with my little dog and simply pause my TV at a moment that interests me. The screen goes blank on my TV after approx. 5mins if I leave it paused, so it's also a good time indicator to sketch fast and move onto the next still.
