We spent our day strolling and came across Piazza Di S.Silvestro which had loads of stone seating, so we took a rest and got our sketchbooks out! Then we went on and ended up in Sant'Andrea delle Fratte with the wonderful Bernini angels, where I lit a candle for my parents and sketched with a watercolour pencil. A service was in progress, a group of nuns on their knees, praying intently until one stood, walked over to one of the angels, took out her iphone and clicked a photo...Classic!
