Tonals

Trying out Stabilo pen with a water brush to see how they work in comparison to marker and pigments liners for a tonal sketch.
Conclusion: I prefer the marker + pigment liner/ink as I have more control, the line often disappeared completely with the application of water on Stabilo and created a much looser effect which is fine when drawing a hand but for a more detailed building in Rome, may cause problems. It did help when I went back in to define with Stabilo after applying the water (bottom right sketch)but I am looking for something quick, instant to use when I have little time or am standing.
