Cambridge

Cambridge-2010

I love the architecture in Cambridge, it is beautiful.

I'll be taking six pieces in total; 2 plein air acrylics on canvas, 2 mixed media framed pieces and these two ink & watercolour washes...Apparently local scenes are popular at the moment and, since I live deep in the Fenland countryside, I also wanted to include a couple of small pieces from the city!

Great sketch my dear pal. Good luck with the pieces you are taking down to Haddenham for the Christmas show. I know the gallery will love theme all .

Aha ... I recognised this - it's the junction of Guildhall Street/Wheeler Street with Corn Exchange St going off to the left according to Google Maps.
The main building on the right is the Corn Exchange which I have been to many times for gigs and shows. Jamie Oliver has a restaurant across the road!
A very nice sketch indeed!
