You make me feel guilty now if we don't get to Venice or Positano, as these beautiful sketches show a deep longing and connection. I have so so got to practice and practice to get anywhere near your standard in this style of work.
You won't go wrong Joan - Italy is just full of beautiful architecture and stunning views. I'm very biased but, based on the two trips we've done, Naples/Sorrento/Capri/Pompeii/Amalfi Coast and then Venice and the Lagoon, I think they both really are a 'must see'.
Then again, not seen Rome, Florence, Lake Garda, Tuscany, Puglia ..... yet!
The deep longing and connection is just for anywhere in Italy I think Joan! LOL! I am just so excited! I'm sure your sketches will be wonderful.
Ah Italy....spiled for choices...It's all good!
