A Drive into Ramsey - Part 2

This is one of three sketches I managed during a short trip into Ramsey at the weekend. Ramsey has some wonderful architecture.

This is a quick sketch of the old Abbey gatehouse.
The abbey was one of the oldest English monasteries, founded as early as the 7th century. The gatehouse is all that remains of the Great Gate of the monastery, built around 1475.
