This is so much fun!

Both are sketched from Flickr sources and both in Noodlers Walnut ink, Positano has additional watercolour washes.

Beautiful sketches of the Amalfi coast. Having been to Positano, I can say you nailed the sketch of the waterfront!

Have seen Positano through the eyes of Rick Steves and his Travel Europe videos on public broadcasting television...He has a terrific travelogue on dvd from this area...You really have nailed the place! I can't wait to hear your thoughts about seeing this in person! A yummy spread!

More wonderful sketches! I notice that "The Sketchbook Project" is coming to my city, Austin, TX, next year- I'm looking forward to seeing all those sketchbooks.

You have got to see the Sorrentine/Amalfi Coast - it's absolutely spectacular. Only saw Positano from the coastal bus on a day out to Amalfi - what a white knuckle ride that was! Scarier than the Italian Job LOL.

LOL! I can imagine!
So much to see....so little time...Decisions, decisions! It may be my first trip to Italy but it will in no way be my last!
