Journal Grids

Ink and watercolour in daily journal

It's been ages since I sketched in grid format and I've no idea why. I love filling the little boxes and watching the results of a mixture of subjects party together like this on a spread.

You are right. This collage type arrangement makes everything look so cool! I am getting ready to do that drawing class (that you sent me your book for). I think I will have some pages with differing layouts like this.
Not sure if they should draw/paint on shaped squares and glue them in. Maybe they can add cut outs from magazines to add style too! You've inspired me!
