Quick sketches using Noodler inks and watercolour working from stills on a DVD.
Attempting to simplyfy difficult architecture in preparation for my Italian trip next year so I can work fast and get as much into my sketchbooks as possible during the proposed day trips.
I imagine the ink sketches above will be particularly useful for super quick sketches or sketches where I have to stand as they require no watercolour, just the flick of a water brush to produce a few values. I'll certainly be taking more than one Lamy Safari pen with me, more than one coloured ink.

We must have both been uploading our Italian sketches at the same time. Yours look wonderful with just one practice. As you say, I need to simplify, but then I can't see me going in for such quantity of works when we are out there. Luv J - miss you already.
Super sketches! I'm curious to know - how long did each one take you?
