Another sketch compilation for Haddenham Galleries.
This time the three sketches bled right into one another so I painted parts in monochrome to detatch them slightly and hopefully stop the whole thing looking like a single image. (The lighthouse actually sits on top of those glorious cliffs and I am sure those women are very clever but doubt their ability to actually walk on water!)

Would there have been water flowing over their feet ?
It's three separate images Scott, they were not actually walking in the water. I was a little worried it would appear that way. Hmmm....I might have a quick resolve

Another great composition - I must confess I thought they might have got their feet wet!! Makes for a very intriguing piece for Haddenham. Keep going girl!!

I'm still going Joannie, found it difficult in all this heat to be out and about on location...it's either too cold and windy or too hot and sticky...
