26th Worlwide Sketchcrawl

Doddington Churchyard, Cambs

I managed to get out for a couple of hours on Saturday and do a local, solo, sketch session for the 26th Worldwide sketchcrawl.
Still no scanner (thank God for my camera)
All of my sketches are in a folding Maruman sketchbook in which I have sketched all my recent WW sketchcrawls.

Good to see you keeping up your local sketching amongst all those paintings. Like the March town view from the hotel and the little pen sketch. Not so sure the monument doesnt look like it is sprouting tree branch ears!!! Hope you don't mind a bit of critique amongst all my praises.

It was wonderful chatting yesterday - Clive tells me we were on the phone for TWO HOURS!!!!! Can't wait for our holiday plans to finalise.

Hey!...What's wrong with the ears on my monument. LOL!!!
Two hours....OMG...Boy YOU can talk. LOL! I wondered why my hand had gone numb.
Holiday....Oooohh, so exciting!

Absolutely glorious, and there is a feeling of spring in the air.

A great solo sketchcrawl. You found some lovely scenes to draw. The page in black pen is my favourite as it seems to flow so beautifully on the page

Nice that you got out for the SC. Great sketches. I wasn't going to say anything about the statue. *giggle*

Joan made me laugh about the ears - when I went to look again they seemed like antlers. I love the softness of your colours and lines, very dreamy, specially the view from the Oliver Cromwell Hotel window.
