U Turn

Benwick - Watercolour in Canson sketchbook ©Anita Davies

When collecting Harry from school, I make a u-turn on the corner of a farmyard to face back towards home for our return journey. This is the road further up past the farm, I painted it from my car, very quickly and loosely in watercolour before pulling back out onto the road.

Lovely. I am really enjoying your landscape sketches.

Nice, colorful, and loose. I like how you plunked those blues and reds in the foliage.

You amaze...with this beautiful quick painting...right on the spot! I could never do this. But what a good exercise it would be for me to carry my watercolor pad with brush and paint around my yard...stopping to paint several quick ones.
