Stepping Out

Took my group outside for their lesson at the beginning of the month where they sketched 'plein air' for the first time, concentrating on the view opposite the studio across the Fen. This is the quick sketchbook entry I made during the lesson.

Lovely, clean watercolor, inspiring me to paint plein aire.

This is a lovely painting, nice and fresh with great atmosphere. I took a look at your book, Close to Home. It’s wonderful. That is just what I have in mind. When I take my dog Ivy for a walk these homes call to me. Your right, I am enjoying myself. Is there a better pass time then painting and drawing? I can’t think of one.
