St Mary Magdalene
St Mary Magdalene church, on the Sandringham estate, is quite beautiful. It's a small church that far exceeds your expectations on entry, brimming with treasures and decorative features. Whenever I visit such a place I try to purchase a guide book as a memory, I used the guide book from this Royal venue as a reference to create this spread in my journal.
I think I am missing the great outdoors...roll on Summer!

I'm ready for summer, myself. Love your drawings...all of them. You add so much detail.
Beautiful work with the colors emphasizing the jewel box feel you mention--love it
definitely wanting summer here too- it's very springlike right now!
Beautiful spread! I love that shade of blue.
Looks like a lovely place to visit. Glad your weather is good enough to go out...is spring on it's way?
Thanks everyone.
Katy, I used Inktense pencils on this spread, lovely colours.
Joan, I sketched this from references not from life. It's freezing here, infact it started snowing again about two hours ago and it has already covered everything about an inch deep.
Ever tried a childrens book? This looks like the start of a story! Lovely Lively Line
Continued success!
Anita - this is awesome! I love your knight! Marva
Spot on delightful...your colors exceptional! Love !
