Peterborough Cathedral

It's half term and I'm back working in the large watercolour moleskine I purchased at the Fitzwilliam museum last Summer, recording these holiday's for my youngest Harry.

We kicked off our week with a trip into Peterborough and a visit to the cathedral. We had a fun day and even managed a little sketching both in the cathedral and in Wimpy where we stopped for a bite to eat.

When I lived at Cherry Trees, I often shopped in Peterborough and always made time to visit the cathedral. There was a time when there was lots of scaffolding - hopefully now removed. Took Channais there for a day and she loved it - including the little cafe tucked just inside the outer gates. !! Lovely sketches. Did the journey take longer in Jake's little car??
