Doddington Hall

Doddington Hall, ink and watercolour in large Moleskine sketchbook ©Anita Davies

I sketched this one back in January, it was a school day and I found myself arriving a little early to collect Harry so I parked up outside the church and made a quick study of the Hall.

I've sketched the hall before here:

I had to do a double take at this, because there's a Doddington Hall just near here as well, and it doesn't look dissimilar! Lovely sketch.

I thought of you a couple of days ago - for some reason someone left a 12 year old copy of BBC Wildlife magazine on a train, and there was a sticker on the front with his name and address - he was from March! I thought 'Aha, I know of that place now...' :)
