My 'babies' are back at college and school and I'm trying to make sense of some routine again, although I'm finding it hard to remember the usual order of my day. I hate when my kids are not home, I miss them!
Rick Tulka helped ease the pain when he sent me a copy of his fantastic book in exchange for a copy of mine. I've been admiring his sketches for a while now and am delighted to own a signed copy of this beautifully presented work. I've been carrying the book around since it arrived, lost in the character filled pages.

here hoping that your days are filled with artistic thoughts to help dull the pain of missing the kids!
What an exciting exchange!
Good to see your Canson in the sketch up top there. I got reacquainted with mine today after (gulp) a couple of months. Ahhhhhhh. :)
I admire Rick too, I know he's going to love your book, I know I do. I guess I should look into getting a copy of Rick's book...
I'm loving the your use of the stencil....adds a nice graphic layer to your page.
Mmmmm...I simply love the pen work and graphic quality of that first sketch...Your Canson looks really fine in the background...your compo just perfect...If ever you do a group reorder of more of those red Canson books ...add my name to the list...I totally missed missed the boat last time...Oh sorrowful me...LOL :)
Rick's book is a perfect match for your focus this year! WooHoo Anita! :)
I hear ya....I hate when Aaron goes back to school too as I miss him terribly. I've always loved having my kids home. A lovely sketch, Anita!
