New Journal

Started another A6 Venezia to continue my daily journal entries in. I'm enjoying these little books, their size isn't too demanding for me to manage alongside my focus on people this year.

Great page, love the yummy yellow background... and with a bit of help from Google I now know what size and A6 is... here the the Colonies we don't size paper that way LOL

A6 is TIDDLY! Would not be good for the control freak in me to work that small!
Do you design your pages or let them happen organically.

Thank you!

Anita - My last 3 journals have all been A6 Venezia, smaller than I am used to .. however, what the size has allowed me to do while I have other things going on is to finish the spread complete. This has brought good composition pratice, design essences and ideas have formed.
This page started with the posemaniac figure, then the three boxes, the large box linking them, the honeycomb design in the background, filling the boxes, the pulse rate lines through the centre, the upside down flowers, the small flowers around the boxes and then colour choices followed by the lettering.
My pages evolve, I'm never sure where they are going at the start but towards the end I challenge myself to pull what I have together to make a whole.
Hope that explains the spread ok. :)

Anita, You asked if I could post my sunflower ATCs together on my blog for easier viewing, so I did. Please pop in and see them.
